Established in 1956 by the visionary industrialist Karamyogi Thapar, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET) has evolved into one of India's leading private engineering institutions. Undergraduate Admissions
Admission to B.Tech programs is based on performance in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) or through our own entrance examination (TIET Entrance Test). We offer 15 specializations across engineering disciplines with a total intake of 1,800 students annually.

Eligibility:
Minimum 75% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For international students, equivalent qualifications are accepted.

M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, and Ph.D. programs admit students based on GATE scores, CAT/XAT (for MBA), or institute-specific tests. Research scholars are selected through interviews and research proposal evaluations.
